Executive Chairman Philip Williams, a seasoned Registered Investment Advisor accredited by The Trinidad and Tobago Securities Exchange Commission, boasts over two decades of invaluable experience within the Financial Services Sector both locally and internationally. Graduating from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in finance, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Leicester. Philip’s professional repertoire includes an array of licenses, including Series 6 and 26 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the United States, underscoring his commitment to excellence and compliance within the industry. With a multifaceted career trajectory spanning roles such as Financial Advisor, Investment Analyst, and Portfolio Manager, Philip is currently the head of Investments of a prominent Investment Company in Trinidad and Tobago.
Executive Director
Cedric Thompson, CMT, CFA, serves as the Executive Director at PTG, distinguished as one of the pioneering individuals in the English-speaking Caribbean to achieve both the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations. A proud alumnus of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in Jamaica, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, further advancing his education with an MBA from Bayes Business School.
With over ten years of rich experience in investment management, Cedric has adeptly handled various facets of the field, including in-depth investment research and analysis, along with proficient management of securities in Trinidad & Tobago and on a global scale. His expertise is not just limited to his immediate professional environment; Cedric is deeply committed to demystifying complex financial concepts. He aims to translate the sophisticated analytical frameworks of his credentials into accessible, practical knowledge, empowering individuals in the Caribbean and the wider diaspora to build and enhance their wealth effectively.
